Registered Charity No. 1126752

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE FULLY BOOKED FOR 2015.

We will shortly be taking bookings for 2016, please check back here for more details

The placements we offer are for medical students only. If you are interested in applying, please complete the application form and forward on a copy of your CV, along with a letter from your tutor authorising the placement. Please send to the EAAA operations team to process using the contact details opposite. Your application will then be passed to our Medical Director, Mr Alastair Wilson for consideration.

The placements will be based in Norwich and we have the capacity for 4 students at a time, for 4 weeks at a time. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm although we ask you to be flexible as some longer days may be involved.

Unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer a programme to student paramedics. This may change in the future  so please check here for updates.

If your application is successful we would like you to undertake a clinical audit / project as well as involve you in training and moulages etc when the crew are on base. We would also like to give you an introduction to the Charity itself. If you have any particular interests / anything you would like to work on please specify in the application form.

We will give you as much exposure to the clinical operation as possible but please note that a flying shift on the Air Ambulance is not guaranteed, nor is direct patient contact.

We would very much like for you to attend one of our Clinical Governance Days which are held on the first Friday of every month but due to the dates for each placement this may not be possible.

We are continually working on evolving the programme so please check here for updates throughout the year.

What you will need to arrange:
